Cosmetic Pollution

The industry's reliance on conventional plastic packaging contributes significantly to environmental pollution, with devastating consequences for marine ecosystems. This unsustainable practice necessitates a shift towards eco-friendly packaging solutions to mitigate the detrimental impact on our planet.

Protecting Our Soaps, Preserving Our Planet

Our soap packaging is thoughtfully crafted using a sustainable shrink wrap composed of PLA (polylactic acid), PBAT (polybutylene adipate terephthalate), and calcium carbonate. This blend combines the strength and clarity of PLA derived from cornstarch, the flexibility and durability of PBAT, and the enhanced properties and cost-effectiveness of calcium carbonate. This eco-friendly material fully biodegrades within 6-12 months in a home composting environment, leaving no harmful residues and enriching the soil, aligning with our commitment to environmental responsibility.

Agricultural Byproduct to Sustainable Solution

Our commitment to sustainability extends to our face mask packaging, which features jars crafted from reclaimed wheat straw. This innovative material utilizes a byproduct of wheat production, transforming agricultural waste into a durable and eco-friendly alternative to traditional plastics. Through a process of breaking down lignin, a natural polymer found in plants, and combining it with sugar, we obtain a versatile material suitable for molding into various forms. These compostable, BPA-free, and FDA-approved jars embody our dedication to responsible sourcing and reducing our environmental impact.
